Grassland Safari Lodge is located on the western edge of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, some 80km northeast of the connurbation of Ghanzi.
Grassland has eight brick built thatched chalets, which are roomy and comfortable, each with their own en-suite bathrooms, beds, fans, closets, and dressing table. Each chalet has constant hot water and your laundry is done daily at no extra costs.
There are two beautiful main buildings that contain both an outdoor and indoor dining room. Grassland boast a high quality of cuisine, and all meals are provided with a fully stocked bar for evening nightcaps. Guests can enjoy taking a soothing swim after a long day of game drives and cultural walks. Likewise, guests often enjoy sitting by the bricked fire pit and watch as hundreds of animals come in at dusk to feed at the large illuminated water pan - a mere 50 yards away.
The activities at Grassland Safari Lodge concentrate on game drives, but guests can also choose to take a cultural walk with the local San Bushmen - an excellent experience. In addition, Grassland is one of the few lodges in Botswana to offer their guests horse-back safaris.
