Muchenje is situated within 'The last Eden of Chobe'. Muchenje Lodge offers unparalleled safari experiences for both discerning clientele and new comers to the bush, alike. Situated on the western side of Chobe National Park, Muchenje is the only lodge in this area and offers unique and prolific game experiences. Famous for its elephant and buffalo herds, Chobe is also home to numerous lions, as well as a great diversity of plains game and bird species.

The lodge is on an escarpment overlooking the banks of the Chobe River and has unparalleled views across the flood plain. The elegant main lodge incorporates a dining area, bar and viewing platform, whilst the lodge’s swimming pool offers fantastic views and provides a tranquil setting for guests to relax during the day. Each of the 11 en-suite rooms are exquisitely furnished and have a wonderful African ambience.

Only forty minutes drive from Kasane and two hours from Livingstone / Victoria Falls, direct flights are available into both these airports from Jo’burg, Windhoek and Gabarone.

We often use Muchenje for guests looking to travel from the Okavango to Victoria Falls area and have a good safari destination to stay in the middle.
